New: Arlington Community Ambassadors

Arlington Neighborhood Village, in partnership with Marymount University, Arlington county and other area organizations working to assist older adults, is launching a new program — Arlington Senior Ambassadors — to help residents learn about and access services and programs that help with the challenges of aging.  

Are you interested in being a part of a new effort to help older adults in Arlington?  If so, this new Ambassador Program may be the perfect opportunity for you.  

Volunteer ambassadors will be trained to provide personal outreach to their own neighborhoods, buildings, senior centers, faith communities, etc. via regular communication to get the word out to members of their community about the many programs and services available to assist with and enhance the aging experience.  

Together, we will help more older adults get the help they need to navigate the challenges and embrace the opportunities of aging!
