Gail Raiman has been a resident of Arlington’s Bellevue Forest since 1983 where she lives in Glenmore, a designated Arlington County Historic District. A senior strategic communications professional, Gail has worked in national and non-profit associations, higher education, media, and politics. Her broad-based background includes her time at the White House, the Office of the Vice President, and Capitol Hill. In addition, she was the producer and host of a public affairs television program and serves on the board of trustees of Kalamazoo College of which she is a graduate. She is past chair and commissioner of the Arlington Arts Commission, a member of Leadership Arlington and judge for an annual national journalism prize for coverage of the presidency. She also serves as an ombudsman for a professional women’s organization. Gail looks forward to using her expertise in support of ANV’s mission.
