Celebrating 10 Years of Community, Connection, and Service
Neighbors helping neighbors age in place. This is the founding principle of Arlington Neighborhood Village. In 2014, a small group of Arlingtonians took action to create the kind of community they wanted to age in— a culture of caring, designed to enable older adults to remain in the homes and neighborhoods they love while remaining independent safe, and connected.
More than a service provider, our Village is a lifeline, forging bonds that engage, enrich, and empower older adults. Together we are creating an Arlington where older residents of all abilities, races, cultures, and means can “age in place” with dignity and autonomy, connected to a vibrant, caring community.
In the decade since we began services, ANV has become a critical part of Arlington’s senior safety net with hundreds of volunteers helping more than 817 older adults age well.
