Connie Sorrentino is a long-time resident of Arlington.  Connie enjoys living in her rambler and is pleased to join the ANV Board to help others who choose to age-in-place. She received a degree in economics from the George Washington University. Connie retired from a career as an economist with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics where she developed and authored numerous studies on international statistical comparisons. She has served at two international organizations, in Paris and Geneva, leading the development of new statistical indicators. Since retirement, Connie has devoted herself to volunteer work. She is a member of the Board of the nonprofit Lymphoma Foundation of America. At ANV, Connie has been a volunteer since 2014. She has served as secretary to the Board, and she co-chairs the Fundraising Committee, where she researches prospective grant funders, assists with corporate outreach, and monitors ANV’s profile on charity rating sites.
